Our live in carers support people who live in their homes, creating a safe environment to allow people to continue living in their own home, allowing them to be part of their local community and keep up the hobbies they love. They support people with diverse conditions
such as spinal injury, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, elderly with Alzheimer’s, dementia, brain or accident injury, maintaining their independence and keeping them safe. They Offer emotional support and reassurance to a client and their family.
They liaise with medical professionals by reporting client changes and sharing important information. They chauffeur clients to attend medical appointments and social events. They provide companionship by watching TV and chatting with client on daily basis. They provide Personal care by assisting to the client such as washing, bath, showering and dressing issues.
They assist client with Mobility support by walking them around the house, Running errands such as shopping, groceries and picking up prescriptions and medication and assist them to take their medication in accordance with their care plan. They also assist client with Household chores such as cooking breakfast, lunch, dinner, teas, feeding, cleaning the dishes, cleaning the house by mopping floors, hoovering carpet, taking out and bring back the bins, gardening etc.
